I posted it on facebook, but my first 5k run/race is this weekend. I'm really excited. I'm not actually ready. I can still only run 2 miles at a time tops, but I think it will be good for me anyway. Give me some motivation to keep going. I'm hoping to run my 2 miles, walk a few minutes, then finish out with more running.
Six weeks ago when I started, I was only running 1/4-1/2 mile at a time then having to walk. I feel like I've come a long way. Yay couch to 10k app!
Madeleine will do the 1 mile fun run. She's super excited. I don't think she has any clue how far a mile is though. lol It should be interesting.
