Is anyone doing swimming lessons this year?

Anyone having their kids take any other types of lessons this summer?

I think we're going to put her in in-home piano lessons over the summer. After soccer and dance, we are SO done with running around for more than half the week.

Lauren's taking swimming lessons two nights a week. It only lasts for 4 weeks but I think I can sign her up for more lessons and eventually stroke clinics if she wants to continue with swimming. She's taking lessons through our city's parks and recreations.

I signed them up for private swim lessons at the Y. They get so much more...even in one 45 minutes class, then they would in 6 weeks of group class! I think the course I signed them on for is 8 weeks long.

They do swimming classes year-round at the Y, but to be honest we skip a lot of weeks because of our work schedules.

No swimming lessons here...unless you count the ole fashion kind. Spencer was jumping off the board by the end of last summer and after swimming around the pool for awhile this year I just picked him up and tossed him in. He swam to the side and has been jumping in again ever since. He's a great swimmer but I'm paranoid and wont' let him get in without floaties or an adult right next to him
