Are there any meals or parts of meals that they can prepare (with hour help, I mean).

He rarely volunteers to help, but there are things he can do... make a sandwich, make oven fries (I pull them out of the oven), grill hotdogs on the indoor grill (I take them off the grill), etc.

Daniel can make himself waffles or a sandwich, but he loves to help cook (actually all of the boys do) especially if I'm making mac and cheese.

Melanie loves the kitchen and helps with everything I cook or bake. We just made about 12 dozen cookies today and last week she helped me fry fish. Often times I have her help with the mixing more than the actual cooking but she prefers standing on a stool helping with the cooking on the stove. her favorite, that she can do almost alone is spegetti
