Oooh, that's pretty! I love my Oreck. It's awesome! When we first got it (6 years ago) we had just vacuumed. We got home from the Oreck store and had a new toy LOL!! Anyway, we vacuumed again and had to empty the bag. After one time through our house. It was amazing!

My favorite appliance is our stove. Not because I particularly love the stove itself, it's what it symbolizes to me. It symbolizes the heart of the home, where meals are cooked and pizza's heated. The kitchen is where my family tends to congregate, so I always associate it with family. I know, corny...but it's the truth. LOL

My favourite appliance is my Swiffer Carpet Flick, which I bought for a measly $13. It means I don't have to lug out my vacuum (which doesn't work all that great) every time the dirt from the plants spills over or someone spills cookie crumbs all over the floor.

Probably the microwave. I wouldn't be able to eat without it! Yeah I agree about the TV can't live without that either

I bought the carpet flick too .. and I love it ... specially when Krish drops cookie crumbs all over my carpet .. I hate getting the vaccum out and this is so convenient

i WANT one of those Dyson vacuume cleaners! but i was also wanting to know from someone who has one how good they are. they are pretty pricey, but if i never have to buy another one ever again, then its worth it. now, to convince my husband......

i would have to say though that my favorite appliance is probably the TV. oh, and the Comcast digital box that goes with it! it entertains the kids and me! i'm a tv junkie!

you can buy refurbished vaccums, from amazon and heartlandamerica.com. they are warranted for 2 years even if they are refurbished. our hose was all icky and cracks (i will never lend my vaccum to someone again...grr). they replaced it for free!!!

I love my Dyson. You have the fancy purple, we have the yellow one. It's great, I love seeing the dirt and cat hair in the barrel thingie. It makes me feel so clean when I use it. Worth the price IMO if you have a lot of carpet.

I have been thinking about this thread since you started it... and I just have no idea.

Probably My Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker. --- if I had a better tea maker then IT would be my favorite. But I make about 6 quarts of tea a day. And drink it. This one is messy and hard to clean, but I use it the most. Then I would have to say my dishwasher. I can hide all the dirty dishes in it, and not have to scrub anything.

Ohhh. and I am getting this new grater thing from Pampered Chef (<--- spelled correctly as I usually spell it Chief LOL) It cost $45 which I have yet to repay my mom for. But, I am sure it will be one of my favorite things too.

Ooh, ooh, I forgot all about my coffee pot! What's wrong with me??? It's a Bunn stainless coffee house (or something like that.) AWESOME!! Makes a pot in 3 minutes. Great for impatient people like me! I'll find a picture!

ETA: Got a pic...isn't it pretty?? LOL

My favorite appliance would have to be my Bissel Stick vac. My upstairs is all hardwood/tile and with 4 babies and 3 pets running around all day you have to vacuum every day. It's lightweight and easy to use. Works wonders on my hardwood staircases also. And the best thing about it...only cost me like $15.00!!! I hate to sweep, and this takes care of sweeping for me

Ooooh, DH and I want a Dyson so bad!!! It's on our list of things-to-get! We have another vaccuum right now that works OK, but the pet attachment broke the day after we got it Guess that's what happens when you get a Sibe. Husky...

Hm...favorite appliance...our entertainment center? lol We have an awesome flat screen plasma (are they the same? lol) 32 inch (maybe 37? i'm bad with guesstimates), plus these awesome speakers and a cool-looking DVD player lol

DH is a gaget junky!

I don't like anything in our kitchen...we'll mostly b/c it's not mine (military housing). We have a toaster, a microwave, and a coffee maker, none of which I'm particularly fond of!
