First we called... Then I mailed out invitations - mostly for the cuteness of it. I also put my e-mail address for responding. Everyone is family, anyway, so they pretty much already know!

Im going to mail most of them and then possibly hand deliver others depending on how much time I have left. I will also create an evite though so that ppl can RSVP through that as well. Sometimes ppl dont call to RSVP...makes like a little harder.

Our TX party will just be my family and my best friend's family, so I don't think I'll do invites. Our CA party will only be us and my parents (who will be staying with us), so no invites needed for that.
Now that I'm thinking about it, though, it would be nice to have an invitation for the baby book. Maybe I will do something simple for the TX party after all.

I don't "need" to do invitations but I am for the "cuteness" factor and for the baby book! ha! I wonder if I'll be this insane w/ future children??!!

Wow, you are good!
We were planning on doing Thatcher's TX party on Oct 31, since we'll all be together for Halloween anyway. Now we're thinking of doing it on Sat or Sun (the 28th or 29th) b/c of scheduling issues... And I haven't even thought of a theme! If we had the party on Oct 31, we would have done a Halloween theme, but now I need to think of something else if we're changing the date. Ugh, why is it so hard for me to come up with a theme I like?!

I looked on ebay for invites and you can get custom ones w/ their picture and endless fun custom printed ones for $1-$1.40 each!!! I only need like 6-7 invitations so I think I might do somehting like that.

I have never mailed invites with any of my kids. I hand deliver them.
