Hey! I was just wondering how the antibiotics worked on Matthew's ear infection. Did this one do the trick? Has he been back to the doctor yet?

thanks so much for asking! We went back to the dr yesterday and he still has fluid in one but it's clear and the other ear canal is very irritated. He said that it's very common for the infection to go away but when the fluid stays its a breeding ground for the next bacteria. So we go back in another 2 weeks. Matthew still isn't feeling well-dr said that his ears could still be bothering him from the fluid. He isn't eating or sleeping normal. He wake up sometimes in the middle of the night screaming. I just wish he would feel better

no oral meds. He did give me drops to put in his ear-I think they are part antibiotic and part something else lol

You're as technical as me!

Are the drops really thick?? Last winter the doctor gave Andrew some drops and they were SO thick. It took forever for them just to drop from the bottle. I was worried I was going to clog his ears with them.

I dont think they are very thick. But I thought this was weird-the pharamcist told me to warm them up in my hands first because if they're cold it will make hiim dizzy . Like I dont have a hard enough time holding him down to put them in
