So trick or treating for our city is tomorrow from 1 pm to 4 pm I didn't realize people went so early, maybe because it's the city? Most other towns are from 6 - 8 or 5 - 8:30

Anyway, today it's rainy out, blah. And tomorrow we have a weather advisory, damaging winds.

SOUTHEAST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO QUICKLY INCREASE THIS MORNING...WITH SUSTAINED SPEEDS POSSIBLY REACHING 25 TO 35 MPH BY NOON. WIND GUSTS THIS AFTERNOON COULD REACH UP TO 50 MPH.

WINDS WILL SHIFT TO SOUTHWEST LATE TODAY AND DIMINISH TO 15 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS CLOSE TO 45 MPH...BUT WILL PICK UP AGAIN ON SUNDAY. BLUSTERY AND POSSIBLY DAMAGING WEST WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH COULD OCCUR ON SUNDAY... ESPECIALLY DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.

THE COMBINATION OF THE WIND...STILL PARTIALLY LEAFED TREES...AND A WET GROUND DUE TO HEAVY RAINFALL ON SATURDAY WILL PROBABLY RESULT IN DOWNED TREES AND POWER LINES BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BE 31 TO 39 MPH OR GUSTS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 46 AND 57 MPH. WINDS THIS STRONG ARE CAPABLE OF DOWNING SMALL TREE LIMBS AND BRANCHES...POSSIBLY CAUSING ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES. DRIVING CAN ALSO BE DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.

A HIGH WIND WATCH MEANS THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR STRONG DAMAGING WINDS TO DEVELOP IN THE MENTIONED AREAS. THESE STRONG WINDS ARE CAPABLE OF DOWNING TREES AND POWER LINES AS WELL AS CAUSING PROPERTY DAMAGE. IF A HIGH WIND WARNING IS ISSUED...STAY INSIDE AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

Yeah, in Goffstown and Derry (my friend's town and my parent's town) it is on Halloween. I remember a few times as a kid when it wasn't on Halloween day, but not very often.

Becky where in NH are you? I have family in Raymond and in Kennsington.

I;'m originally from MA too and had never heard of trick or treating not being on halloween. I thought it was so weird. my oldest loves it though because the three closest towns are on three different nights so he is gonna get to go three times. lol

I had no idea that cities had certain times to go Trick or Treating and definitely didn't know some did it on different days. It's always on Halloween here and there are no set times. Anyway, I hope everything works out okay for Davey's first Trick or Treating!

It's always on Halloween here too, and you are "supposed to" go before dark but it gets dark so freakin early that no one ever does. We usually get trick or treaters until about 9 o'clock.

That sucks~! I am not sure if you guys have this there, but where I am the malls have trick or treating. You go to the stores in the malls and than they hand out candy.I am going to one mall in the afternoon and to another one in the eve which is also giving out free 8x10s. So maybe see if they have that. Its not liek the real thing but its still fun.

They have that here too. I remember last year, my Mom and I went to the mall so I could walk Aiden out of me (didn't happen, obviously!) and all the little ones were trick or treating and they were sooo cute.

I should go to the mall! I have a coupon for a free 8 by 10 at the picture people, I could use it while I was there! He'd already be dressed up.

Oh wow! You are going to be right near me! I have no idea what time we're going, or if we'll go to houses or the mall, but I'll keep an eye out for you? What are your kids dressing up as?

I'm not entirely sure we are gonna go now. It is really cold and windy.

Ashlie is gonna be a princess, Brandon is being Harry Potter, Aidan is being Winnie the Pooh, he has the cutest and most original POOH costume my mom made it for Brandon. It is all plush and has a big fat belly sewn in with a red fleece shirt that says POOH in yellow. Kaelin isbeing Raggedy Anne. If we decide to go i'll post before we leave.

I hope your weather is ok for trick or treating today! Our town did halloween on a different day a couple years back and so kids not only came by the day that our town selected to celebrate, but then they also came by on halloween, so I think our town learned it's lesson and is sticking with the day of halloween now. It is supposed to be raining here on tuesday night. Hope it's not too bad.

We went, it was freezing and windy, we only did a few streets, we tried the mall, but the trick or treating there was over at 3. Although the girl in Lindt Chocolates still gave us some, lol.

We have an appointment at the Picture People for tomorrow, we were going to do a Halloween picture, but I think we are going to get a family picture instead. Finally!
