So, Mike has a rich uncle. He's been sick with prostate cancer then a staph infection. He's finally feeling better! Yay! Anyway, at Christmas time he felt bad for pretty much missing Charlie's birth then first birthday. We totally understood - he's had more on his plate than anyone ought. But, he wanted to make up for it - and gave us a large check! Well, large for us...

So Uncle Harold got Charlie these two things! I'm so excited! Oh - and so is Charlie...

Sand and water table

Toy box

The table came yesterday - I can't wait for it to be warm enough to set it up!!

How wonderful! Those are fantastic gifts. Nice job picking them. So much better then the gift you get when they are newborns. I have a sand and water table and they LOVE it still. I have had it 5+ years.

Yeah, that water table is almost a must have for Charlie - maybe he'll leave the dogs' water alone... But we couldn't justify buying it, really. Ya know? Now we could!! Yay!

Also - I understand it's relatively portable - so I think it's going to go to his 2nd birthday party location for his friends! (Yeah, we've already planned it - he's having his party in a hangar!!)

Holy Crud! (Ok, I just had to say it one more time!). I LOVE that sand/water table! What a good price too. Nice!! And what a nice toy box. That's what I need, somewhere to put toys and close it up. Uhg.

I am sure Charlie is going to love his new toys!

what fun gifts for Charlie! He's going to have a fun summer for sure! Lucky boy! I so want to get a sand box for Jehan...maybe I'll get one this summer with the gift money his grandparents gave him. We didnt buy anything for him from them because we figured as he gets older we'll get him something he really would enjoy. He has so much right now anyway.

By the way ... a party in a HANGER!! What now that IS cool!!
