Well I am not gonna change my due date on the calendar or anything, but as per my ultrasound yesterday my due date is October 17th. Not much of a change, but anything is better than being due on my birthday, LOL! I love baby Kate dearly, but I don't want to share my birthday with her!

Yesterday was the first ultrasound that she actually looked like a baby in! The last one I had was at 19 weeks when they told me she was a girl, and she still had that alien look, LOL.....but she was sooooo cute yesterday. She had hiccups, and she has a big ol' head but a cute little nose. I cannot WAIT till she is here!

I think I have measured bigger here and there throughout this pregnancy, and I know I did with Ayden because I couldn't get my sugar under control, but we are not going to change my due date. It's so tenative anyway. Just an approximate delivery time. I went a month early with Ayden, so, I don't put to much credit to my due date anyway...

Did your ultrasound just measure a different date or did your doc say that he was giving you a different due date??

Reason I ask is this... You would be likely to have a different "due date" each time you had an ultrasound ...even if you had one every few days because its based on where the tech places each line. Even the same tech can get a different due date (within days of each other) on the same baby on two different exams even on the same day ...just because of where they "click" within a few millimeters ....

I used to get ultrasounds every week (sometimes more often) with one of my pregnancies and often had the same tech .... and the calculated due date would vary up to 2 weeks .... its just a human factor in it all

No the doctor gave me a new due date based on the ultrasound. But since it's all just an estimated time anyway, I am not gonna think much of it. The tech really doesn't say much I have noticed....just kinda makes noises, LOL....although she was wayy more talkative at my 19 week scan. This time, she let the doctor do the talking!

I had another u/s this week too and he was measuring 30 wks (two weeks ahead). She also told me that he weighs 3lbs 5oz already and that that is big for this far along....I'm really wondering how accurate that weight could be...anyone know? It sure freaked me out and the dr said she expects him to be around 9lbs at birth at this rate.

im measruing 4 weeks ahead. But at my 20 week ultrasound, baby was measuring right on, so while Im fairly certain Ill go early, there's no telling when that will be. My first was 19 days early, my second was 3 days early.

My original due date is October 25. At my last ultrasound, the baby was measruing one week ahead and at my last dr's appt, I was measuring another week ahead. I went ahead and chagned my due date myself (even though the dr is sticking with the original) because I'm really PRAYING he comes before my sister's wedding, October 15! The dr is going to give me another ultrasound soon to check the baby out.

I have an ultrasound on the 11th b/c the doc thinks I'm further along than the 16th from the size of my uterus...but I don't see how that could possibly be, there's no WAY I ovulated any earlier than Jan. 22nd lol Hope she's not a big baby! DH and I are pretty petite, you'd figure that would make a small baby, but with my luck she'll be like, 13lbs lol
