I'm so excited! I've been looking at these book racks for quite awhile now, but they're usually about $65 which I think is overpriced. I just found a much cheaper version, though, YAY! I think the colors are kind of ugly but oh well. It will serve the same purpose. I love the idea of having books displayed for Thatcher to see! I know it will only contain a small, small fraction of his books, but I still like it! Maybe I'll start rotating books, and only the ones that fit in there will remain out for the week.
Link.

I've seen that exact one before. Very cute. I bet it wouldn't be difficult to make, either, for the crafty ladies on here!

Go Target! That's pretty neat, I remember having those at our library in primary (elementary) school. Now wouldn't it be awesome if they threw in all those books too!

I love those Anne!!! I don't think the colors are that bad...they are a little bright, but that might just be the online pic!

ditto! I would love that as well, but I feel our house is being swallowed by toys and other things!!! Ugh! But I would rather have something to organize book than baskets/bins........we have bookshelves but Ava knocks ALL of them off the shelves! ugh again!

You know, I actually sent me dad the link of the one that I initially wanted (the $65 one). I figured he could make the wood part, then I could figure out how to do the canvas part hanging from dowels. I wanted to use wood that matched the other furniture he's made us, though, and it's really nice wood. He said he'd probably end up spending $65 on wood anyway, so it wouldn't save us money. I'm sure we could have made one with cheap wood (like the one I just bought, LOL) for a good price, though!

That is cool Anne! I had an all wood version of that in my classroom! It is great! I think you will find that you can get a LOT of use out of it!

I found some REALLY cool all wood ones online that are targeted toward classrooms and libraries. One was a huge one that stored books on both sides, and another was a big one that that hinged... well, I can't explain it but it was really cool. And really expensive and large, LOL.

Here's the all-wood hinged one that I said I liked... and it's only $629! Ha! Link.
But seriously, how cool would that be in a playroom?![/b]

Ooh, what a bargain!
Let us know how you like the one from Target!
