If I could've gotten mine at walmart, I probably would have! Even my cakes came from the walmart bakery!

Has anyone seen any pictures of what the dresses are like?

Anyway, as I mentioned last night in chat, I totally would have bought my wedding dress from Target. As it is, the dress I got married in was from Strawbridge's (used to be a department store in the northeast) and the wedding gown I wore to the "re-enactment" from from a discontinued/clearance rack at David's Bridal. I'm totally cheap. Never underestimate how CHEAP I really am!

Karin - my dress was from the clearance rack at David's Bridal, too! It was still in their "catalogue" though, so I took that home and told Mike that one of those dresses was mine! He was obsessed for about two days with that!

As for the target dresses - I like them! They look like most of the other dresses you can get for a somewhat reasonable price (they don't seem to be over the top fancy, you know?).

Here they are!

Those are nice and simple! I like the one with the pink sash, too! I was wondering if the dresses would be by Isaac M---(?)--. I like his stuff; he does a lot of the nicer Target items.

Karin, I got my Vegas wedding dress on clearance at a department store a few days before my wedding! I paid about $50. The dress I wore for my "reenactment" was a clearanced, discontinued dress, so that was a good deal too, although not dirt cheap. I loved that dress, though.

Here's my $50 dress. This was taken during the cocktail hour right before our "vow renewal ceremony." I can't find a good pic on my computer from the actual Vegas wedding. It's hard to tell in this pic, but the dress is shimmery/silvery. I call it my Vanna dress. I thought it was just right for a Wedding in Vegas!

Ooh, I like them! They're more my style than more expensive wedding gowns, anyway (I like simple, clean-cut dresses - heck, I had the train removed from my "re-enactment" gown!), and the prices are awesome!!

Anne - That's so neat. We did just about the same things with our dresses and our weddings.

Also, I might post pictures (as in, camera pictures) with flowers in the background, or maybe I'll give a link to a page with flowers... Those will count, too! So keep your eyes open, b/c I'm spicing things up this time! [/b]
