I know! Prices her eare soooo low. Plus with the new construction there are a bunch of bonuses we would get, $5000 in free upgrades, no closing costs etc etc. It's so different from VA!

Carla!! Wow!!! LOVE them both!! I think my fav is the second one, but it's hard to pick between the two! I can't get over the prices either!! We need to move!
As for our weekned, Saturday rained all day and was cold. Noah's game got rained out, Rich's mom came by. I thought she was coming for the day to see the kids but she didn't come until 5:00p.m. we took her to dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise.
Sunday 2 of my sisters and I took my mom to lunch for her Mother's Day gift. Then went fishing with the kids and cousins, then a fire in our fire pit with neighbors. Today, nieces b-day party at a beach (off Lake Michigan). Rich worked so it was me chasing after Jude the whole day. He had a ton of fun so it was fine.
It was a good weekend all in all.

Marcie, does Rich's Mom live close to you guys? I know you are super close to your family, but I don't hear a lot about Rich's family. You don't need to answer me if I am being too nosey!!

You are so funny Jessie! You are not being too nosey!
Rich's mom used to live in the next town over about 5 min. from us. She sold her house and moved to Indiana with her mom. But her MOm ended up dying like 2 weeks later (she hadn't even unpacked yet). So she bought her mom's house and is staying there. It's kind of strange b/c she came out on Thursday and had asked Rich what day we were available so she could see the kids, etc. Then she didn't even come until 5:00 p.m. and was going to go to a movie with friend's...I guess right after dinner. She ended up canceling that b/c the kids wanted to play with her. I'm not really complaining- worked out fine for me, but wierd.

Thanks everybody! It's such a tough decision. And I'm still not sure if buying is the right decision. With our last houses it really felt 'right' but I'm just not feeling it this time.

OMG! What great deals! Those are a steal!!! You couldn't touch those houses around here for those prices! WOW!
I love house 2! What character...it's just homey.
But the first is majestic, and begs for a family to come make it a home! Oh, what great choices! I can't wait to hear how this goes...

I perfer the exterior on the second one-lol! I really like them both but the second one is super nice. I think you should wait until you guys are feeling the love for the house . I think we are smarter then we think. There has to be a reason we "love" a house the first 30 seconds. At those prices it is hard to go wrong!
I had an ok weekend. I went to the Science Museum and my kids had a blast. Jamo worked yesterday and today.

We had a great weekend. Well, Joe and Dad bonded over gardening, etc...
But this afternoon, he cooked out, and we had an impromptu dinner on the back porch. All of us. Dad too. It was REALLY nice.
