I saw on target's site that your gates are marked down a bit ... the tall one is $48 and the wide one is $37!

Did you ever call Target?

OMG! Hopefully you can get the better deal, somehow! Heck, you'd probably just be happy to get the darn gates!

Ok, quick update before I go to work.

Trina, I am so, so sorry... You're going to have to take the stuff to the PO. I feel TERRIBLE that you have to do that. I talked to them on the phone, and they said those specific items can't go back to the store, and they're probably too big for the postman to pick up in his truck, so you'll have to take them in to the post office.

Prior to you doing this, I will print out pre-paid mailing labels and send them to you.

Once they receive the items, they will totally refund me, shipping and all. (Or so they say... I'm sure I'll have to call them again to make it really happen.)

Then I will replace the order.

The only good thing about this is that I'll get the gates for the new sale price.

I'm soooooo sorry you're going to have to lug that to the PO. I'll try to mail the labels to you before I leave Thurs, and then you can send them in whenever you get the chance. NO HURRY! (Oh, but you can probably give the little package--the feeding set--to the postman to take. That's small enough that he should be able to take it, so at least that will be one less thing you have to take in to the PO.)

Any chance James will take this stuff to the PO? Want me to call and beg him?

Also, don't send me the money you owe me from the gift card. We'll just count that toward the gas and effort you have to waste on this problem I created.

SORRY!!!

First of all, the post office is 2 blocks away It won't take $10 in gas and my effort sure won't either.

It's HONESTLY not a big deal....I can send them a few days before you are due back from TX so that they aren't sitting there while you are gone. I can toss them in the back of my van and drive them up there when I go to the grocery store or something!

My only concern is this .... there is a sign in our PO that says that boxes can't have "pictures" on them ... I don't know if that means only if the item in the box isn't what's IN the box .... or just in general. I'll go tomorrow and double check!
