When u read to your little ones are u reading line for line or are u pointing out objects and things on the pages. I tried reading but Jehan gets bored he'd much rather flip through the pages and have me point things out to him. Also if I do read Im basically saying the keywords he knows and then I ask him where something is on the page and then he points to it. I feel he enjoys that a lot more than me just reading the book.

Good question! Kaitlyn doesn't care to hear me read the words, so we (well, SHE) turn the pages and we point at stuff and she chatters away in her own little language

I can usually read it once, then he wants to flip thru it again and thats when I point stuff out.

I start off reading (lucky if I can get through the first page) then I try pointing things out, but he's too busy flipping the pages usually.

Both here, too. I usually get through most of the book reading the actual lines, then we start over and start pointing at things.

I follow his lead. If he's pointing at objects, I tell him what they are. If he's just relaxing in my lap, then I read the words.
