My friend has a 7yo girl in 2nd grade. Not having girls myself, I'm clueless. In the daughter's school journal, there are approx. 100 entries about kissing, and there have been issues on the playground with her kissing some boys (like on the hand). There is nothing to indicate any molestation issues - that's not the concern. I'm just wondering if this is normal for her age. We think so, but we're not sure, so I said I'd consult my crew!

Obviously I don't have a 7 yo girl but I do remember playing a lot of catch and kiss when I was that age!

My opinion...totally normal!! Abby had a "boyfriend" in preschool and would kiss him on the cheek. I remember the girls chasing the boys at the age. I think it's more about the thrill of the chase and the fact that the boys don't like it.

I was thinking the same thing! Very normal but I would monitor it closely.
