Based on my other thread, I think I'm in the minority when it comes to using the changing table. Thatcher is getting too long for it, but I'm still using it... It's just so much easier than putting him on the floor!
Where do YOU usually change your baby?

Riley started climbing off the changing table at about 6 months so we haven't used it since then. It is still set up in his room tho.

The only changing tables I have used, are the ones in the bathrooms. It was too hard for me to stand and use our right after my c-section, and then I just got used to doing on the bed or ottoman.

If we weren't having baby #2, I would STILL be using the changing table...I loved it! Ava is now changed on the floor.

I voted 50/50, but it's more like 70/30... I use the changing table for poopie diapers only. It's much easier lately to tell Charlie to lie down so we can change the diaper. He lies down on the floor and it's quick off and quick on. Poopiness, though, is a different matter (ha! Get it? Different matter?? ) and I like to keep it somewhat contained on the changing table "just in case." I can throw that cover into the laundry.

Yes, nearly always. I'll be using it as long as possible because he's never still for diaper changes. I've done them on the floor a few random times and he's just all over the place -- up on the table, he can squirm all he wants but he really has nowhere to go.

LMAO!!!
Anne, you're totally not alone! The table-changers are winning!! I used the table 'til the end of diaper changing with the first two and will continue with YY.
He's such a wiggle worm and it's slightly easier to pin him down on the table.

We change where ever is convenient. I have diapers and wipes in every room but the bathrooms. It easier that way for us since she's a royal pain when it comes to changing her...

Our dresser has a built in one that all you have to do is add the pad. I tried for the first few days and it was very awkward for me to try and change him sideways. Ever since then I do it all on the bed.

We don't use the change table anymore. All we really had was a pad on top of her dresser. It's still on there, but we haven't used it since Amber was around 9-12 months old.

I stopped using it when he was really little. I just change him wherever we are. I use the floor or the bed almost all the time.

LOL! I was thinking of posting this question all last week but I didn't because I thought surely I was the only one still using a changing table. I'll use it 100% of the time if possible. It's World War III to change her on the floor / bed / etc but WWI on the changing table. I wish potty training was happening sooner in our house -- diaper changes are our only real Struggle. If Scott's around, I'll have him hold her down. Lately I've been giving her a wipe and a doll to clean up herself while I'm changing her. That's working for now (fingers crossed).

changing table almost all the time. She's more "contained" that way, otherwise I have to chase her down!

Jehan is always changed on the changing pad on his dresser. He's outgrown the changing pad but since I have it on a dresser it doesnt matter if his leg dangle off the changing pad.
