LOL! Almost! One evening she had gone to the bathroom to shower, and I was in there too. I asked her if she wanted me to wait, and she said "no" that she could find her way back just fine...we were afterall camped directly in front of the bathroom, only you had to cross 2 narrow streets and 1 vacant campsite to get to where we were camped. (The place was practically empty) So I'm sitting in my chair at our campsite, and turned to look at the bathroom just as I see Amy come out and make an immediate right turn...LMAO!
Amy and I both took pictures, unfortunately we both had film cameras with us, so it'll be a little bit before I (or she) can post them.
I have many stories to tell...would ya'll like to hear of Amy's newest fear? LOL!

Is that why you still wake up each night in your own bed and panic because you can't find your flashlight?

OK, so here's the story of the coons...
Night #1-We got there early in the day and had ourselves all set up. We have a screened in canopy and we had a table set up with our food for the week setting out on it. I went to bed early, but Jonathan woke me up around 10:30ish to tell me that some coons had been around and were getting in the garbage. The park ranger was doing his walking rounds and overheard Jonathan talking about coons and came over and said our setup wasn't very good, the coons would just come right under the canopy and would eat anything we had sitting out and they could even open coolers and everything. Anyway, Jonathan and Mike ended up staying up ALL night (until about 5:00) defending our campsite from the 50 or so coons who had decided to terrorize us, and Amy sat in her tent all night and every time the MEN would mention "there's another one" Amy would freak out and shine her light outside the tent to watch as the MEN returned the terrorism.
Night #2-we all thought it would be fun to terrorize the coons. We got everything cleaned up and had no food anywhere, but were going to stay up to "coon hunt." BORING!!!! Almost none showed up, so we went to bed.
Day #3-driving into the park, 4 coons were crossing the road, and Amy locked the car doors so they wouldn't open the car door and get her...LOL!
Night #3-we figured would be a repeat of #2. We had everything cleaned up, but somehow the coons discovered an unsecured cooler and spent the night feasting on all the food in the cooler...crunching eggs and other delicasies right outside poor trembling Amy's tent.
Reading back through this, it isn't as funny...I suppose you had to be there.
BTW...the "bat" which Amy was refering was a butterfly who had somehow made it's way into Amy's tent...during the light of day.
Amy, what have you got to add?

All I have to say is, those coons were vicious! Id shine my light on em and they'd just keep coming! I was scared I'd get bit and wind up with rabies, or worse? Has anyone ever heard of a camper being mauled by coons?
