We went downtown to the waterfront today for the pet parade (Morris won 2nd place for best trick!!!!), and about an hour later, DF went to bring Morris home. Well 5 minutes after he left, he came back and said "Our car has either been towed or stolen." I was like... . So he called the cops to see if they had anyone towed, and they gave us 2 phone numbers for towing companies. The first company said no they hadn't towed our car. The second one... they said they had! We parked in a "permit only" area apparently, but there are no signs visible! And there were several other cars there, but they said they weren't able to manouever (sp) the tow truck to get the other vehicles. And yet there was another car in our spot they didn't bother taking. So it cost us $115 to get the friggen car out of the compound lot. So we're gonna take pics of the area to prove there are no signs there and get our bloody money back!

Whats with it these ppl??? Anne got the parking tickets cause supposedly she hadnt payed and now you're got towed. That sux! Hope you're able to prove that this was not your fault.

Thank you ladies! We were way too busy today to take any pictures, but hopefully we will be able to go tomorrow or something to do it. Or we might not even worry about it. I have no idea.

That sucks! If you really think that it will get your money back, I would definitely go and take pics and I would do it ASAP, just in case the realize there were no signs there and decide to put some up.

I am glad to hear that at least it wasnt stolen!

UGH, that sucks. This is a bad week for JM cars, huh? I hope you can get your money back. If there weren't any visible signs, it shouldn't be hard to contest the fee. I'd be so ticked, though. It's such a pain to deal with this stuff.

I have to call tomorrow about the parking ticket I got in WA. I ended up finding a phone number on the ticket, so hopefully that will get me somewhere.
