We undergoing de-paci-fication tonight when Kendall goes to bed and it is going to suck!! No pun intended!

Any words of wisdom for those that have gotten rid of the pacifiers! Anything to make this easier would be appreciated!!

Good luck! Make sure you search high and low for any missing pacifiers! We've found that Daniel had them stashed all over the house. We've been without the paci for nearly 3 weeks and we had a few set backs at first, but he doesn't ask for it any more.

However, he did find a long ago lost bottle ring with nipple in it and he started sucking on that and yelled "binky" when I took it away and trashed it.

Rach!

Good luck, Alyssa gave hers up when she was about 8 months (she had bitten a huge hole in it and refused any other ones) It'll be difficult but she'll forget in a few days.

Thanks for the encouragement! Last night was rough. It took about an hour of crying and then she went to sleep. She woke up a few hours later and she slept with us so it's peaceful night at that point. Except she streches across the bed.. in my direction of course

River was VERY attached to his paci. I took it away in July and the first couple of nights were rough, but then it was like he forgot about it. A month later when he was over it completely, we took him to Build-A-Bear and put one of them inside a stuffed animal. She'll be fine in a couple days!

I don't have any advice either as Chloe never took one! Lucas does but we will not be taking that away for a long time and I so dread the day we do.......Good luck!
