I got my lab results back from my 24 hour urine collection and it says I have 6.3 gm/dl of Protein in my urine? My clinic hasn't called me back yet and they told me that I have to wait until my appointment at the end of this week to help me figure anything out. They're morons, I believe. Anyway, if it says I have protein in my urine, that means that I should be looked at, right? I'm just so worried since my doctor told me last week that Pre Eclampsia could be serious if not treated early.

Last time I went in and they checked my urine they said it was good and that the time before I had a bit of protein in it. They did not even tell me the time before, so I think it depends on the levels and I have no idea how that works.

I have a call in to L&D because I know there's always a doctor on call and I know they'll be able to tell me SOMETHING. I worry too much

LOL yeah you do

The urine collection will tested more thouroughly than the regular dip test they normally do.....so that number could be well within the "ok" range and not be a big deal. If your doc has seen the results (and they don't always get a chance to see them right away) and there was something to be concerned about immediately.... they would be contacting you or giving you that information. Lots of people have protein in their urine at some point in pregnancy and once or twice isn't usually enough to make extra visits or intense observation.

RELAX lol ....
