We spent all night at the hospital. He doesn't have RSV but he does have a really bad cold. So the doctor told me to give him a little honey of all things to help break up his congestion. Poor baby, I hope he feels better soon!

I am glad he doesn't have RSV. We use a honey-based cough syrup for Marshall when he gets colds and it works really well. HUGS

i always thought honey was something your not supposed to give a baby until they are past a year old or something maybe im wrong. Hope the little guy feels better soon (((HUGS))) im sure you are exhausted

Ditto you Lisa - my dr adviced me not to give Krish any honey till he was a year old .. but back home (in India), they use honey as a cure for literally everything in babies ..

I got the same advice about honey from my pediatrician too about not giving Marshall honey until after a year.

Still congested but I have been running the warm mist humidifier and it seems to be helping!

Im sorry you were in the hospital, and hope it doesnt tax you financially like it does us. I am glad he is doing better. I know having a sick tiny one sucks!! Felicity and Jackson had much rougher babyhoods with colds than my older 2 did, just because my older ones bring stuff home!

No, it is free here in Canada to take your kiddo to the ER. Can't even imagine having to worry about paying for it, that must be awful. I hope the States comes up with free health care soon!
