My poor baby!!!! It never ends! He's cutting his last molar so I figured his low grade fever was from that... well he woke up screaming at 4 this morning and I went to pick him up and he was on FIRE.. his temp was 103.2 I gave him tylenol and motrin (which I have been told to do for every fever he has ever had.. they always say its ok to piggy back those two) then I called his pedi. She said to bring him in if it got to 105. Well of course we are 20 min from the hospital now that we moved, not to mention we got hit with almost a foot of snow over night... so I didn't want to push my luck and NOT go in.. but he fell asleep so I let him be. He woke up (in bed with us) soaking wet with sweat.. literally dripping. And his temp was down to 97... and he was fighting me so bad. He wouldn't let me take his wet clothes off so he kept shivering. AH It was awful. We made it to 8:00am when his pedi opened and I got the first appt I could.... so an hour, one nose swab and one throat swab later, she told us it is strep throat.... who knew it could be so nasty! She thought it might be influenza so thank God it's not..

Anyway, I'm busy obviously LOL but I'm still popping in when I can. He's feeling a bit better right now. Who knows how long til he gets down again. He wants me to hold him constantly which is so hard with Claire. I am thankful she's such a content little girl.. but I still feel bad setting her down so much. So here he is on ANOTHER round of amoxicillin... please send him some get well soon vibes.. and send the rest of us, especially Claire, some NO STREP vibes!

ohhh my point about that was that the nurse that I talked to told me NOT to do this I dunno... she told me to make sure not to do it anymore???

Thanks guys... he's still so miserable. I hope he feels up to the egg hunt tomorrow I've been looking forward to it so much! But it might have to be inside anyway since we just got a foot of snow

He was up all night again.. poor thing. I HATE when he is so sick!
