I'm not quite 20 weeks yet but I just had my appointments in the past two days and thought I'd share.

Where to begin.....

I had my ultrasound first....NO we did NOT find out the gender. My mom was there with me and swears up and down that she was watching and saw nothing between the legs (i.e penis) but my opinion is that the baby wasn't in a good position for her to have seen that. THe baby is measuring bang on for a Feb 2nd due date but they were not able to get all the measurements they needed of baby due to positioning and visibility so I have to go back in 2 weeks. Jacob was waiting out in the waiting room with Mike and my mom playing with the toys they have and when everyone came back I said "look Jacob there's the baby on the TV isn't it cute?" to which he responded "yeah mama real cute, jacob play toys again?" LOL The kid cracks me up! I go back on September 24th for the follow up scan!

My appointment was perfect! I am still seeing my family practionner and won't see my OB again until 28 weeks along. At my previous appointment with her two months ago I had lost 17 pounds and since then I have gained 1.7 pounds so basically 2 pounds if you are asking me. My blood pressure was perfect 120/80 and I had no sugar/protein in my urine! I go back to her on October 10th and she'll give me the paperwork I need to have my GD test done....she said I looked fantastic and I told her that I feel fantastic finally! So YAY! Seems like everything is progressing along just fine.....my only stress is they haven't been able to get good shots of the baby and I'd like to know everything is ok!

Sounds like you had a great appointment! Hopefully they can get the measurements they need to, next time, but it's neat that you get another peek at your babe!
