Ethan discovered climbing over the weekend and I can't keep him off of anything. I went to the bathroom, came back and he was on the back of the couch. I pulled him off of the dining room table earlier and he was on top of the entertainment center last night. I can't take my eyes off of him right now. As I type he's trying to make his way over the baby gate into the kitchen. Help!!!! This kid is turning my hair gray. Georgie never really did this, please tell me its a phase that passes quickly.
Adam is definitely part monkey! He's still that way, unfortunately, so I can't say it's just a short phase, sorry! Maybe move the baby gate 2 inches up off the floor so he has a harder time getting his footing?
That's what I did with Adam for a while, now he just pulls it down. If you ever figure out how to stop it, please let me know!
another thought with the gate is to make sure that the side that has the piece that locks it in place is on the side of the gate that they are NOT on so that they cant use that to help them get a leg up....
I have no advice, Stacey... Natasha was never a climber or got into anything, we never even houseproof'ed or anything for her... Veronika is not mobile yet, so I have no idea. But she's larger and stronger than Natasha (29.1 inches already) so who knows...
