LOL. My first name is Kaija, and my mom was planning to give me her middle name (Karen) and my maiden name was a K name too. THank GOD she noticed the problem with the initials and corrected that (changed it to Diane).

Weird names:
Nimrod (This was the name of a Russian boy in my 7th grade class)....
Pushkin (In my current baby book)
Bulldog (Same as above)
Schmoopie (same as above)....

And many others I just can't recall off hand.

When I workedat an ad agency, I had to keep up-to-date media lists. One of our ad reps was named Dick Growth! I still laugh about that.

My brother is 30, and still angry with my parents for his initials - ARF.

In a baby name book I have, they use places [locations of cities countries] as names, I think thats kinda odd. But ya know whatever

I don't really have any funny innitalls, but when DH and I were talking about girls names, he said we could name our daughter, hailey elizabeth, our last name starts w/ a "B", And with my madien name, my initals were REW, so her initals could be HEBREW [and my dad's side of the family is jewish]. He thought it was funny....be he also had a little to much to drink

Popping in from TTC, this is a great thread. There are sooo many weird names out there.

Before I got married, my initials were SNM, got a lot of teasing about that one in college.

weird boy name- Thornton or Filbert
Can't think of any weird girl names off the top of my head, although I know they are out there.
