So lately Mary has been doing something that I thought was just a coincidence at first but it's been going on for so long now I know she's doing it on purpose. She prefers I nurse her lying down, so whenever it's convenient I nurse her in my bedroom on my bed. I've been starting to notice towards the end of nursing on one side she'll put her hand on my breast and start opening and closing her fist, like she's trying to massage the milk out. Then after a little bit she'll pop off and roll away from me to her other side and wait. LOL she knows I usually flip to the other side of the bed for the second breast to finish a feeding! Last night I showed DH, I was trying to nurse her to sleep and she popped off the first side and rolled to her other side and just stayed there. I whispered to DH to come over and look. We waited and finally she rolled back, gave me this look like, "What's your problem" and started babbling and complaining at me! LOL so I moved to the other side of the bed and offered her the second side and she was happy again.
I'm definitely trying to sign more with her this week because she's slowly starting to communicate with me, and its' so cute!
