Dylan loves to set the table ~~~ he is quite the helper! He counts out 4 plates - 4 forks, knives, spoons - puts ice in the cups and loves to help with making the food too. I don't think I ever thought to let Shaun help me when he was that age ---

oh and he also carries folded clothes upstairs for me (sometimes they are still folded when they get up there lol~)

Do your kids like to "help"

Oh, that's so cute. I didn't even think to let Isabella help set the table at this age.

She INSISTS on putting the laundry and soap in the washing machine. And, she "helps" me take care of Max throughout the day. Even when I'm placing food in front of him for his lunch, she goes over and hanks out his binky for him (as if he doesn't know to do that himself). She comforts him when he gets a little fussy, "Max, you're okay, buddy. You're okay" while patting his back or giving him a kiss. It's so cute.

Lucas likes to set the table too, but we are so bad about eating together as a family, it doesn't happen very often. Sometimes if Lucas is in another part of the house and I need him where I am, I'll go "Oh man! HELP!" and he comes running "I'm coming, mommy!" and I'll have him help me with whatever thing I needed him for.

Xavier loves to clean up spills. He will go to get tissues or something if he spills water. He has also tried to undress Trevor. He loves to help do things, but we don't set the table. I guess we could. He wants to play with the stuff when it's out, so we tend not to. I'll give it a try though and see what he thinks.

I wouldn't trust Georgie to set the table, she'd be likely to go after Ethan with a fork. She is pretty good at helping clean; she likes to dust, sweep and clean the windows.

Logan loves to help me. The other day I had him take all the grapes off the stem. He also sets the table and always loves to help me make dinner. I just need to find a safe thing for him to do while I am cooking at the stove.

Miranda is more the supervisor...If there is a spill, she will suggest that we grab a cloth and clean it up....or if we are tidying up...she will mention that there is a block over there...that type of thing...but she loves to help cook. I will let her crack eggs into a bowl and sometimes only have to pick out one of two pieces of shell....
