So I am being induced Thursday unless my doctor plays a mean joke on me and cancels it again, but I have noticed that ALOT of you ladies are being induced the same day! Yay for April 13 babies! So who is being induced that day???
OMG I just realized that! A Jamaican woman that works with my husband said months ago that I will deliver on a full moon! Oh I have to call him! CRAZY!!
I'm going in Thursday night to start the cyotec pill & they will start pitocin early Friday morning. I'm glad they decided to bring me in the night before to do the pill because they say that improves the chances of pitocin working & it makes it go a lot faster. But they gave me a paper on induction & it was saying just to let you know that inductions can sometimes take 2-3 days & I was like what!?!? and then she told me that just the average but with me it should go a lot faster because of the pre-e... which was a BIG relief so I am hoping my little one will be here before Saturday.
just so you girls know.... my water broke but i wasnt progressing. I was at 3cm for weeks. I started pitocen (without the pill) at 330pm and had my daughter at 4:404am. However, the reason why it took so long was because there was a pocket of water still there that the doctor broke and within an hour i was pushing (4 to 5cm to 10cm in 1 hr) So i wouldnt worry about any 2-3 day labours. Im sure its possible, but i think at that point they would give ya a C-section, hell they were threatening me with one. gooodluck girls. cant wait to see new babies.
