the whole hospital trauma thing happened 2 weeks and a couple days ago.
then we had a death in the family (an uncle of my hubby)
soooooo.... me and Lily went on a trip. we asked the pediatritian if we could go an a plane..and she didnt see any reason not to. i just had to look for signs, of problem, and deal with them as i would deal with them here.
heheheh..... we went all the way to the other side of canada!
we drove 9 hours through the rocky mountains.. then took a 4 hour plane ride to Toronto, then took another plane to a small town in northern ontario...then we drove down to MichiganUSA... then back to small town ontario..the 2 more planes, and finally back home. we were gone 7 days in totall, and lemme tell you Miss Lily is an AMAZING traveller. she muct have gypsy blood like her mama!! she didnt make a peep on the planes.. even slept in an RV for 5 nights!
it was a big trip, and my hubby wasnt able to go. so it was just me and her and a whole bunch of in-laws. interesting... but we were glad to get home.
but now we are home with her daddy, and soo glad to be. i think it will be good to have a melllow life for a while.. our Lily has had 5 VERY busy and exciting weeks~ time to chill out, and get to know the peaceful life here on the farm! (mind you.. with all the festivals and summer fun that goes on.. there isnt ever a really mellow time out here!)
What a big trip for little Lily! And she was such a trooper! I haven't taken Ryland on a big trip yet. The farthest we've gone with him so far was 2 hours away to New Jersey!

sorry dh's uncle died! but wow! (you were in my neck of the woods for a bit, hehe-- where in MI id you go?) sounds like a fantastic trip. seems lily is growing into a peaceful little lady, just like her mama.
Rhiley was the same way when she was 10 days old we took a 4 hour flight to TN & she slept the entire time we were on the plane... I was so happy she did so good!! I'm flying back to TN June 20, I'm hoping she will be just as good this time around too.
