Do you give your 06er an allowance? If so, what do you base it on and how much? We are starting to consider giving Lily and Julia an allowance every week and are trying to brainstorm some ways to set it up.

The kids get 50 cents a week per year of how old they are. We pay them every other Monday when Jamie gets paid. So Ani gets $12 every two weeks, Cameron gets $10 every two weeks, Fritz gets $5, and Adrian gets $3. They get a raise on their birthday. The three older kids are required to pay 10% tithing to the church and save 10% in their long-term savings (which we match so they actually get 10% more than their base pay). Adrian pays 10% tithing and then the rest goes in his long-term savings (no matching). They get the spending money starting at age 5.
