Does bedtime change on the weekends? What times does your child go to bed?

Its usually the same time on the weekends. Mostly because they are so tired by that time. Occasionally, if we haven't done much that day then they might stay up a little later.

It's the same here since we have soccer Saturday mornings & Sunday school on Sunday, so no sleeping in!

Nooo doesn't change. She doesn't really sleep any later on the weekends, sigh. So if I put her to bed later, she'll just lose sleep and then it'll backfire. Plus, she just gets tired at the same time nightly.

She has to get up at 6am for school, so goes to bed at 7pm.

Seven? Holy early. lol. We just have dinner at 6:45pm most nights.

Natasha's teacher sent a letter that she recommends weeknight bedtime be 8pm. But as hard as I've tried, it just doesn't work this way. DH gets home at 6:45 most nights which is when we all eat dinner. Then I do dishes & lunches for the next day. Then 7:45 is bathtime... 8:15 is story-time/teeth, etc. Anyway, bedtime is usually 8:30-9pm both weekends and weeknights.

The girls are in bed around 730 on school nights and 8-830 on weekends.

Jaidyn's in bed 7:30-8pm on school nights. Weekends are usually 8-8:15pm, but the past couple of Saturdays she's been a little later as she's been watching Doctor Who.

Wow early bedtimes, yes! I can't get my kids to bed that early no matter how hard I try. Eric starts getting ready for bed at 8 and is in bed by 8:30, then usually stays up to read for a bit before falling asleep. We keep that fairly consistent over the weekend as well.

Mine goes down at 7, too! She's ready then. She's an early bird, though, so she's super tired when 7 hits. I wake her for 6am to get ready for school, and sometimes she wakes on her own early (i.e. this AM she was up at 5:13am)... so she's ready to crash by 7. We eat much earlier, too... between 5-5:30.

On weeknights we usually head to bed at 8pm - go potty, brush teeth, reading.

On weekends we see how it goes and take her cues as to how tired she is - usually we still head to bed before 9pm though.
