Seth had his 6 month check up today. He's 19lbs. 11oz. and 27in. long. 75th percentile for both. I don't remember head size, but it was 75th too! He's nice and square! I was a little worried he was gonna be short and pudgy forever since his last few appointments he's been like 50th for height but 95th for weight!
Everything's good, the doctor made Seth cry though just by talking to him. I'd never seen him react to a stranger like that, but it was waaay past his naptime so he was a little grumpy to begin with! He took the shots well...barely cried. He had to get 4 of them!
He told me I could feed him pretty much whatever baby food he'll eat. He said it was ok to go ahead and move on to stage 3 whenever we wanted to. We'll probably wait a little while since he hasn't had half the stage 2 foods yet.
haha, genetics caught up with timmy-- for some reason, as vitamin/mineral deficient as i am, seem to have a super-womb, that produces babies much bigger than schedule. as soon as he was born, he started slimming down. not miss, though. she is so fat, she actually has cankles. i love it, though...
so, back to you, hehe. sorry for that. glad seth is healthy. with all that's going wrong in the world, it gives me a good feeling, whenever I hear that our babies are healthy. cancer is coming up everywhere on jm, little benjamin is in the hospital, some december twins were born in the low one-pound range, last week, and yet, nobody in our DDC delivered before 35 weeks, and we've been relatively lucky with health... 2 fractured skulls, surgery for alex... my mind is blanking totally, now ... but you get my point... i feel like we're in a little protected bubble here, with no stillbirths, or major special needs, and i'm soooo thankful...... here's to healthy check-ups!
YAY SETH! Our boys are so similar! The weight and height thing cracks me up, because Baby J is 19 lbs 12 oz and 27 1/2 in long! YAY BIG BOYS!
ETA: I hope you don't think I'm lying, cuz it's really not a competition to me, I only care that the babies are healthy! But i think it's so strange that they are almost there together!
