Okay so after talking to the neroligist we re staying at the hospital tonight. i figured that us going somewhere else before home would be just TOO tramtic for benjamin so the dr said its fine to stay one more night. I gave my poor baby the shot for the first time today. I felt SO BAD! but the nurse said i did it REALLY WELL!!!! afterwards i picked him up and hugged him and said im so sorry but its for your own good i promise. i dont think he really cared but hopefully he'll get a little used to it after a while.

But we are leaving and going home tomarrow morning. Which will be so nice. im really ready to be back home. Im even talking with my sons pedi about writing me a note to my social worker so i can get my tanif for the 3 months or even one month benjamin starts the shot because i need to watch him very carefully so im seeing if it can get me out of having to work for at least a few months.

The neroligst was really shocked th at benjamin hasnt had another sezure episode. I guess since he has only had the meds twice (vit be 6 & the shot ) typically for the shot he should still have a few before he hopefully stops completly if this shot works like it should. WHICH HE HASNT HAD EVEN ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!


So keep your fingers crossed this med works or even that its just that benjamin needs vit b6 to keep these stupid sezures away. i guess a lack of the vit b6 can cause sezures... so please girls make sure your babies are getting enough i would hate to have you guys having to go through what ive had to.


well besides us having to come back up here in a month and benjamin needing another EEG up here then there isnt much more to update you girls on.

I just want to say thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart.... seriously!!! i was so scared and so upset even when i heard the news. i guess i wanted the dr to magically say hes totally fine who knows why hes done this. but everyone is right i could have gotten such more horrable news! so im thankful everyday hes as healthy as he is. thanks for all the support you showed.
Sadly i didnt even get 1/2 of this support from the march playgroup in which i posted with and was pregnant wth those mommies. Not that they are bad i adore them all. i just thought with something like this them knowing me more than you girls in the april playgroup id get a lot of support from them as well. so thank you soo much!!!

Glad everything is going well for you both. I am also so happy to hear that the B6 and the shot seems to be working. *keeping fingers crossed* That it continues to do what it is supposed to.

oh my goodness I am so sorry you guys have been going through this. it must have been pure hell. Will he have to have the shots forever or just for a certain amount time? Well I hope his health keeps up and that he only gets better and better. and big big to baby Ben.

I am so glad he is okay! I have never even heard of B6 until your posts. Its amazing how much we don't know about our children until we HAVE to know. It must be so hard for you to do those shots but you can do it and Benjamin will get over it... whatever it takes to keep him healthy!!

We're all so happy that Ben is going to be okay. Just a glitch in the road, but he's perfect! We're all here to support you with anythng you need, to vent or cry or to share happy news, we're all here!

Oh I'm so happy things are getting better for you and Ben, we were all SO WORRIED. You are such a great mommy, Ben knows you aren't hurting him with those shots, he can sense you are helping him, just stay strong! And happy 6 months Ben!!
