well yes..Mikaela had her first hospital stay since she was born..She started out with diahrrea on saturday and on wednesday we ended up in the ER..they gave her some fluids and then sent us home..but that nite she seemed to get worse instead of better..So on Thursday morning we went back to the ER and this time she was admitted..We were discharged today..It sucked she was on IV fluids this whole time and keep getting her fingers pricked so that they could run labs to make sure that all her fluid levels were normal..She was diagnosed with acute gastrorentitis and dehydration..She still has diarreah and then said that she will probably have some for the next couple of days but as long as she is eating and drinking her levels should stay normal..It was very scary and so tiring..but hopefully we are on our way out of it..
UPDATE!!!
So last nite wasnt all that great..she wasnt interested in eating..she went to bed around 10 and so far since then she has only had a bowel movement twice which is pretty good..but since during the nite she didnt drink or eat anything she was pretty down this morning...We called my cousin who is a doc and he said that no matter what we have to keep making her drink..So i made a pedialyte sort off drink since Mikaela hates, hates pedialyte and we are doing about 1 1/2 to 2 oz every hr since thats how much she was getting at the hospital in her IV...She has perked up a bit so maybe she will up to eating later..Im just stressed but at the same time i know that if i keep at it she will get better..so keeps us in your thoughts cause i hate that she is sick...

Oh gosh, I hope she makes a speedy recovery! I know how it is to see your baby in the hospital with all those wires and pokes, it sucks! My older daughter was in the hospital for a week when she was 15 months for viral mengingitis *spelling*
I'm so sorry, that must be so scary. Hopefully she gets better quick! Keep us updated
