A friend of mine sent me this info this morning. Mattel is recalling about 80 different toys becase they were manufactured in China with paint that contains lead. They are all either Sesame Street or Nickalodeon character based toys. It's a pretty wide range of types of toys too. We don't have any of them, but I think I may have given one to my nephew as a gift. Need to call my sister so she can check.

My daughter is a lover of DORA the explore and when I saw Dora on the list, my heart sunk! Then I realized, that she prefers cloths and beddings with DORA and could not trace any DORA toy bought in the time range given. We didnt but!!

We have a set of the Dora dolls but I bought then prior to this so we are in the clear.

How scary! All these things made in China being problems. It really makes you want to check the "made in" before you buy anything food, toys etc.

Its only toys bought after May 2007 too, Abby has a bunch of them but they are older.

Koda has a sesame street phone, luckily my sister bought it for her in March, so we are okay!
