Today is CD 28, I'm trying not to get too excited b/c sometimes AF shows on CD 33-whoah! I started spotting 30 days ago, then normal AF 28 days ago---maybe??? What are the odds of me being pg after 24 months of trying and three months away from IVF??? I'm not testing, though I do have three cheapies and four digitals left... I will not test, I will not test (rocking on the floor)...[/b]
Oh Marie - I really hope this is it for you.
I am on CD29...6 days post ovulation. I am going to the doctor tomorrow for a review of things and I will see if she will send me for a blood test at some point later this week or else I will see if AF shows up. I am trying not to buy any HPTs because I figure I'll know soon enough. I'll keep you updated.
Fingers crossed for both of us, Kasey!! OMG, our EDD's could be one week apart!!! Okay, calm down Marie, breathe in, breathe out...

Wow, nice temp jump today! I'm a FF charting failure, so I'll be of no help
BFN this morning

BFN this morning[/b]
I'm sorry Marie...maybe in a few days!
I'm really not looking forward to seeing BFN. I wish I had enough patience to wait it out. As I was telling you in a different thread, I didn't go to the OB today (appt got cancelled), so I bought some HPTs and I plan to start testing on Friday (10dpo)...or Thursday if I"m really dying to see a BFN!
It's now officially been 13 months since my cycles started getting messed up. It's my second month on Estrogen and Progesterone and all I've gotten from it is really swollen boobs and mood swings. I'm supposed to be on cycle day 28 today but instead I'm on cycle day 2
I'm as hopeless as ever! I started spotting on Thursday and AF on Friday. I had another very short luteal phase - 9 days this time. Way too short for pregnancy. I decided I have a bigger issue than my OB can help me with and I am getting referral to the RE (infertility specialist). *Shrug*
I finally spent the big bucks on a clearblue easy digital OPK kit and so far nothing. No surge at all When the OB put me on hormones they said I was ovulating so hopefully my surge will show up soon.

I'm on CD17 today and no surge yet (on my plain ol' OPKs). Hope we both get a positive soon and can move on to the 2 week wait!
I'm on cd 16, no idea if I O'd, don't much care either way

My Clearblue is still negative today but the second line on my internet cheapy is darker than yesterday. That's a good sign right? Or wrong?[/b]
I still have a negative today (CD18). This is what I found on www.peeonastick.com about the pattern of OPKs leading up to a positive. Hopefully your darker second line is a sign of things to come.
20. Will I see my OPK lines get darker before I get a true positive? Maybe. Some women do experience a "fade-in" pattern, and some experience an "almost positive" shortly before their true positive. However, it's not necessary to observe this pattern. In fact, you might see your test darken and then get lighter. It doesn't necessarily mean you missed your surge; some LH (luteinizing hormone) fluctuation is normal, and there are variations in the individual tests as well (some have more or less dye, for instance.)
Ultimately, there is no need to compare your OPK's; each test can be read in isolation, either positive or negative. If you are one of the women who sees a fade-in pattern, consider yourself lucky; you have some extra, advance notice of your impending LH surge.
For examples of a real life day-to-day OPK comparison, see my OPK Odyssey.

I've read so much on them that I may just stop using them. Apparently they can be negative even though you do ovulate and positive and still may not ovulate. That's not really helpful. I need to learn to chart.

I use them AND temp, watch cervical mucus, and sometimes cervical position. I use Fertility Friend...I find it very easy. The biggest pain is the temping, which only tells you AFTER you O.
I think my PCOS really messed up my opk potential. We knew I O'd from monthly progesterone levels, but I have NEVER gotten a pos opk in 4 years, EVER. I also temped for five months, I was also a crappy temper. *shrugs shoulders*

I'm having my normal cramps now and still a negative OPK. If this is anything like my last 13 cycles then I'll be spotting by tomorrow and that will continue until Cycle day 1

I'm kind of crampy and have pulling sensations today. This morning at 6:30 am I had a positive OPK (very positive), but tonight at 4:45, it was not positive. The second line was lighter. I might be one of those people who don't surge for very long. If I wouldn't have tested this morning, I wouldn't have known I had a positive. Errr...I don't even like OPKs...not sure why I use them. Hope that this morning was a true positive. All other signs seem to be pointing to this being a fertile time, so I'll get to it!
