The great Baby Einstein scam - Parenting on Shine

Ok, now, I'm one of those Moms who thinks tv is ok in small doses. We own every Baby Einstein DVD and Lex and Lola love watching them. But I in no way ever thought my kids would become geniuses by watching these videos. So I'm good, no refund wanted here. LOL!! I will say this though.....I didn't teach Lex to sign "milk", "help" or any of the other things he used to sign. So I think that, for him, the videos helped him learn a little. Just a little. I take credit for the rest!!

Nina, I agree with you 100%. We have a lot of the DVD's and movies. I never once thought that Peyton was going to become the next Noble Peace Prize winner from them. But I do know that he is 3 1/2 yrs old and still loves to watch them. So no, I will not be asking for any money back (most were hand me downs, anyway). I am still very happy with my purchases and gifts.

Ummm lol.. I read why they were giving refunds... What parent actually sat down and wrote them.. "Um my son has been watching your videos for the last 2 years and he is no where near as smart as those little kids in those there movies" ROTHFLMAO..

LOL that is funny Cyndee! I have to agree I laughed when I heard they were giving refunds. I only bought one but I bought it because i thought the kids would like to watch it. Not because I thought they would be smarter than me in a weeks time. LOL!!
