Subject line, pretty much said it all!

Haley starts tomorrow - ahhh!

He did great! He was so excited the night before and right before we left but then he kinda got a little shy and nervous once we got there-it was MASS chaos with all the parents and kids and siblings in the classroom! He was upset because the chairs next to the 3 kids he knew already in his class were already taken and he had to pick a seat next to someone he didn't know. I left with him on the verge of tears. But he was all smiles when I picked him up and he was up and dressed before I even got out of bed Thursday morning!

It was exhausting for him though. He did ok after school Wed. and Thu. but Friday afternoon he had a COMPLETE meltdown in the car and it pretty much continued over one thing or the other until bedtime. He was so tired. He goes full day and they don't even have a rest time, although they do most of the concentrated learning time in the morning and more "fun" things in the afternoon. Thankfully his first week was only 3 days since they started on Wed. and he napped both Saturday and yesterday (something he hasn't done in awhile!) He was up and ready to go again at 6am this morning. We'll see how he does the end of this week....

I'm glad Seth is having a good time! Haley looked exhausted when I picked her up too! She handled it fine today, but I am seeing definite after school meltdowns later this week! (Starting midweek is great for little ones I think!).

It was chaotic in the morning at ours too. Luckily I got permission to be a little late to my school so I could stay until we could go to the classroom. She had a great first day - hopefully she's gotten a handle on her anxiety/frustration and will have a great year!
