Until this year, I always put them out on Christmas Eve because Lucy wasn't good at being patient and would nag constantly about what her presents are. She's doing better now, so we've started putting presents under the tree.

DH insists we do it like 2 weeks before christmas. I hate it! It's so hard to keep the kids away from them! But that's what we do, except the Santa stuff which we usually don't wrap and put under the tree on Xmas eve.
