the best b-day present ever!
I was feeding Will his breakfast and Steve was at the table reading my card to him. He starts to talk to Will when Will smiles, looks at me and says, "Da...Dada." Then smiles back at Steve. Well, DH got a bit choked up. He came over and gave Will a kiss on his head and Will reached up for him.
I think Steve's birthday and workday got off to a great start.

Steve said that this was all he needed for his birthday. I guess I'll just take everything I bought him back and buy myself somethin' pretty!  I suppose I have to wait until October for a "Mama."

that is sooooooooo sweet! I can only imagine that moment and how DH felt... DJ has said dada from the start so nothign special for DH here, maybe when he actually says "daddy"
