I tried to make a sample 5x7 invite card. I may actually do it smaller...but anyway...here's my sample card what do ya'll think??
I'm going to put a pic of her hopefully blended in at the top...I'm not sure about that though...we'll see. I was just goofing off tonight trying to improve my photoshop skills.
ETA: If you have any suggestions that might make it better feel free to be a critic...I want honesty...because it totally won't hurt my feelings!!!

I think it looks great!
I love the font you used for the date and time. What is it?

It's pretty cute. A few suggestions...
I wouldn't overlap Addison's name into that dark pink stripe.
I'd just do her name on top of "First Birthday".
I'd probably bold the "When" and "Where" and the
"Addison's First Birthday".
And I LOVE the font that the date and time are in, so I'd use
it for it all, more than likely.
Of course these are all personal preferences, and it's cute
just how it is too. Especially once you add the pic in there!
ETA: What font is that, btw?

I think it is super cute. I can't wait to see what it looks like with her pic on it. I do agree to put her name above happy birthday.

It's called Pea Stacy. My neighbor/friend makes handwriting fonts...and I downloaded them from her website.
It's http://www.kevinandamanda.com. You can go there and download all her fonts for free and that is one of them. I love all of them, but that one is my favorite.
Leave a comment on her page telling her you know me.
Forgot to say - goto what's new and there's a link to fonts.

Heather---it is VERY cute! But, I do totally agree with Carissa. If you want a different font at the bottom/top, maybe a "simple" type of font? Or, do it all in one font.
Oh, and THANK YOU SO MUCH for the website!!! That will be GREAT for siggies!!

Ditto to Carissa's suggestions, plus, I'd make it bolded so it's easier to read. Very cute!

I agree with the others about not having Addison through the stripe. Both fonts are nice but I'd stick to one.
I hope you'll post it with the pic when it's finished.
