I just got back from Target. I checked out the push/walk toys. Almost all said 12 months and older. Do you think Kenzie is ready for them? She crawls, and picks herself up to the couch, and has started walking along furniture. She is only 16 pounds. Do any of you have a favorite? They are $30-40. I really want one she will enjoy for that. Do you think I could find one at a garage sale? I hate to spend the money and have her rarely use it.

Laura, check craigslist before you buy one at the store.

You stand up the seat when they're ready to walk with it, and he does GREAT. (We don't let him in the kitchen just because it would move too fast for him)

She seems ready if she is already cruising on the couch. Those ages are just a guideline but not always right. Ditto to Jenn about checking Craigslist first!

That is a good idea. I love that Tonka. My DH would be in heaven. He does not want Kenzie to be too girly.

this is what I got Gabe, from 6 months up, and he LOVES it. he just gets behind it and just goes to town lol. he also loves the fact that it plays music and stuff. he'll make it start playing and just sit in front of it and pat his little hands on his legs, it's so cute!
