Aww Kristen! I'm glad you feel that way after having 3 because sometimes I feel like 3 might be too much for us... but I know in my heart I want another and so does Derek. Is 3 easier than 2? I've heard people say it is but you never know... I'd LOVE to get pregnant again, but I feel like Isla is still my baby and we want to get her more time to 'be the baby'. If and when we get pregnant, it would be another 2 years before we even TTC.

no, we're done. I had tubal ligation after Anna, b/c with my health issues I just don't want to risk it....

I personally think having three is no different than two...sometimes even easier especially when the older ones can help out!

I do that once in a while too. I am definitely baby hungry but after how sick I was with my pregnancy with Caleb, we aren't going to start TTC until after he turns 2.

I get baby fever here and there...when I do I always go visit my 2 month old nephew, but sometimes that makes it worse! I would love to start trying at the begining of 2009, but I KNOW Dave would love to wait...so we will see

I don't stalk the ddc's because the baby fever might kill me.

I've got it, for sure! DH and I are going to give it ago the day he leaves since I'll be Oing and then we're going to officially start ttc in Dec when he gets back from his deployment. It took a little while with Lawson, so I'm not expecting much right off the bat. However, the first time I got pg, it was right off bc, and when that ended in m/c, I got pg straight away with the ectopic... so, you never know. I guess it's just a matter of ovulating out the side with the tube attached to it!

Stalking DDC is bad, btw... it makes you want to be pg pronto!!!

Every now and then I will lurk if I see an interesting topic as I scroll down to the playrooms but it certainly doesn't give me baby fever. The thought of being pregnant again, after so long on bedrest and in pain, does not appeal to me in the least.

I don't really lurk, but with my sister being preggo it has made the fever worse! I need to talk to DH about it. The more I think about it the more it would make sense to have them closer together in age. I think of family vacations and how easy it would be to do age appropriate things if they are the same age. Also I'm 31...if I wait too long I'll be high risk because of my age...so yes definitely have baby fever.

I'm missing it too. But there is no way I could handle one without going sane really. I'm mommy and daddy I can always do this. Ah! I want to but then again I don't. I've heard 3 is easier too do you think so?

I am in the same boat. I had my tubes tied. But really the only reason I did is because of Jakob having a genetic condition. We really don't want to have another special needs child and we have a 25% chance everytime we get pregnant so I got my tubes tied. Now dh even wants another one.

I really regret getting my tubes tied now. But I am trying not to focus on it all now. We might looking at doing something in about 4 years. Right now I am in school and want to get that done before we even think about another. We might do a egg donar or something. I am not sure.

You could always try and adopt? Not sure if you've thought of that one either. I was adopted and it such helped me out big time. That is what I want to do with our last child. Give some child who didn't have a fighting chances without my family and our love. I hope you guys can find something that works for you I am not sure how I would feel in your situation. That must have been really hard to do hon.

I check them out from time to time, or I see in someone's siggy they just had a baby so I go check it out. I am happy to report that no I do not yearn to be pregnant, LOL!

In fact I took DH and DD for eye appointments last week and he had to sign the consent to have his pupils dialated. I looked at him and said for once it is nice to see it will be you getting dialated and and not me...we laughed our butts off! We are definetly done and I am good with that. We are blessed to have had four healthy children and four healthy pregnancies. I am looking forward to closing the chapter on babies in our house (not to mention getting rid of all the stuff that comes with them) and moving forward as a family together.

I feel for you though Kristen, I really thought I would be a mess when we made the choice not to have more. Honestly I may feel differently about it if I were young like you, but I am getting old and tired now.

Just thought I'd let you know that I was almost 34 when Jaden was born...and not high risk due to age (You have lots of time for that. ) Having said that, I conceived #2 just after #1's first bday and it was a great age difference for them and just enough time between pregnancies IMO.
