Well he goes into surgery November 4th at 8am. It'll take around 8hrs.

They are doing at least 4 procedures. The main ones I know about is repairing the aneurysm and doing the Aortic valve transplant. They will know more when they do the scope behind the heart to see what is going on back there.

They said the hospital is working on arrangements. They are going to see if the Marriott would have a room for then. $110 per night.

Thanks and yeah.... it is nutts.
With Robert having that conduit and not having it upgraded when he should have had caused some other problems. That's why the aneurysm and the enlarging of the right aorta. That's why we had such a hard time getting a doc that would even be qualified to attempt this.

How scary! Tons of thoughts and prayers sent to you guys!

Maybe go to like the Salvation Army or something and see if they can help out with the room...seems like someone out there could help out since they don't have a Ronald McDonald house sort of thing.

The Salvation Army here is tapped out due to the flooding. What funds they had were depleted. Same as for the trustees.
