Oh my, there are like 10-15 girls on my DDC board that have already found out the sex of their baby. I feel like I just found out I was pregnant yesterday and then BAM! All of a sudden, I'm 17 weeks and counting. Maybe it's going quicker because I'm so focused on Caden all the time that I don't have the time to devote all my thoughts to this pregnancy. April seems so far away, but in reality, it will be here before I know it. The Thanksgiving/Christmas season always seem to go so fast and then it will be January. Good Lord, I'm not sure if I'm ready to put my hoo-hoo through the trauma again. She didn't have such a great time at the last birth. I may have to bribe her this time and promise that this will be the last.
OMG Kelli that had me LOL!! Man do I ever know what you mean, when you stop and think about how that baby has to get out, you kinda question your decision to have another one But your right it will fly by and you'll have another birth BEHIND you in no time at all!!!
LOL I hope you and your hoo-hoo have a much easier time this time! Your pregnancy is flying by for me too! I can't believe how that there are 2 new babies here already and more that will b e here soon. It's just crazy.

We are finding out this time and the ultrasound is on Nov. 21. We're so excited! As for names, we know that if it's a boy, he will be Tanner John. As for a girl, we are clueless. I don't know why we have such an easy time with boy names, but can't ever decided on a girl name.
All the pregnancies in this PR seem to be going by really fast to me! I can't believe you're already 17 weeks along. Tanner is a really cute name! With Brayden, we'd decided on a girl's name quickly and it took a long time to decide on a boy's.

I'll just have to promise no more babies after this one and remind her that she doesn't have to put out for at least 6 weeks. That should make her happy.

We were on vacation this summer(the actual vacation we conceived this surprise baby on) and we were watching an Extreme sports event on TV with my BIL. He commented that one of the skaters he really liked was coming on and his name was Tanner Hall or something like that. DH and I looked at each other and both agreed that Tanner was such a cool name. We'd never heard of it for a person. (My neighbor's dog is named Tanner ) We both agreed that we liked it enough to use it someday. As for the middle name, John is my dad's name and if this baby is a boy, this will be his 5th grandson and so far, no one had used his name. I know he would love it and it would mean the world to him.

Yes, I'm pretty sure this is the last one. I always said I wanted 3. DH is one of three, I'm one of three and so are all of our parents. However, with that said, I HATE the first trimester of pregnancy enough to not want to go through it again. Feeling miserable for 9 weeks straight is no fun at all. Joel also doesn't want us to have to struggle financially. His parents struggled when he was little and that has really stuck with him. He wants to be able to go on vacations and have nice things and just be able to afford a decent lifestyle for ourselves and our kids. I can respect that and he's already talking about a vasectomy which blew me away. Never did I think he would be willing to do that. Time will tell and who knows, we may have another one in a few years when the first trimester symptoms aren't so fresh in my mind.
Oh, I've thought of two girl names that I like and I'm working on Joel to like at least one of them. Either Emerson or Emery. I love that you can shorten them to the nickname Emie. I just think that's so cute.
