Don't forget to get out and vote today! Your vote does count and this is a monumental election! Do you part! I don't care who you vote for. Just get out and vote.
Share the importance of it with your children! Either way today is going to be an historical day. This election could see the first black President or the first female Vice President. It's an exciting time!

Well Nana is just gonna have to beat you over the head with her cast! LOL! Registering is just one of those things that always slips your mind. A lot of people forget until it's too late. Just go do it when you move!

My kids have the day off from school so to avoid having to take all 4 of them with me I got up at 5:30 a.m. and was among the first in line to vote! When I got there at 5:45 there were already at least 40 people in line! It's going to be a busy day at the polls.
My kids had a mock election at their school yesterday and they were really excited about it. I wish it could have been possible for me to take them, but my polling place is teeny and like I said, it was already a crowded mess!!
It's going to be an exciting day!

I'm glad you were able to get in and out quickly, Lee. I know there are going to be outrageous lines everywhere. I voted at Hastings a couple weeks ago. I hope everyone that can get out and vote, does! Remember not to wear anything representing a candidate

Yay, Nana! That was nice of them. I hope you're not hurting too bad, though.
Yes, it's true, Angel! At least here, you're not allowed to wear anything about the candidates. Sometimes they'll give you a T-shirt to cover it up, or make you leave and come back. I didn't know it until last night.
I'm pretty sure you can register online. Maybe RocktheVote.com? I'm not really sure.

Nana that's great! I'm so glad you got to vote. I know you were looking forward to it.
Angel, yeah you're not really supposed to wear anything that supports a particular candidate when you go vote. You can usually register right online. They talked about that a lot for this election but there was a deadline so it's too late now. You can register for next time though.

Yeah that online crap is not so easy, lol. You have to print out these forms to fill out and then have copies of your drivers license and whatever else to send in with the forms. I have no scanner and plus my license address is wrong. I think your license has to be correct when you register, so I have to get a new license first!

You can register at your local DMV or go to your County Clerk's office and register. My mom is the County Clerk in my hometown and she and her office staff have been open even on Saturdays for the last month registering voters. She said this is the most new voters she's registered in the 30+ years she's been County Clerk. Exciting times.
I voted too.
