I was just wondering if your LOs eat at the table in a real chair yet?

Wyatt has been wanting to do this lately, and sometimes won't eat
unless he's in a real chair like us! It drives me batty, but I know he's
just growing and changing.

We were just talking about getting Elizabeth a booster seat for the inlaws house. At our place we don't have a table so she sits in her highchair in the living room with us. At the inlaws (currently) we lower her highchair and remove the front so she sits against the table.

^^ That's what we did for a while, SJ...but then soon, even that
wasn't good enough. He wanted the real deal...lol.

For meals he's still in his high chair, but for snacks or lunch if DH isn't home he sits in a small chair at his small table.

Nolan has been protesting the high chair too. It will be a challenge finding room for him at our table...we just have a small cafe-type table in the kitchen...enough room for 2 chairs and Nolan's high chair in between.

We very rarely eat in the dining room and usually eat all of our meals at the bistro style high table we have in the kithen. So she sits in her high chair. At my mom's house and the sitters house she sits at a booster seat. We're going to switch her to the booster seat once the new baby is ready to go into the high chair and we start eating in the dining room.

She could care less what she sits in but she'll have a fit if you don't give her a fork to eat with.

We still have the high chair, but he wants to eat with the "big people", so sometimes he eats with us on the couch. Bad, I know, but we don't have enough chairs for the table!

Atty sits in her high chair. I tried putting it against the table with the tray off, but It was uncomfortable for me (she seemed too far away) and she doesn't complain either way, so I put the tray back on.

We just started putting him in a booster seat at the table this week. He loves it but it's much more messy to clean up. I might stick him back in his high chair - he doesn't seem to care that much.

we go through phases here ... sometimes it's his "stokke" high chair which pulls up against the table, sometimes it's the bar stool type chair that goes against the breakfast bar, sometimes "his" small table and chairs that he plays at and sometimes (but less likely) a real chair.

lately .. the most important key to getting him to eat is to let him read ... if he has a book, we can put ANYTHING in his mouth. A couple of months ago he had to feed himself, but that no longer seems to be the case.

Alex sits at a booster seat at the table. It is more messy and I secretly want a dog to clean up after she's done eating (with all the food she ends up dropping or pushing off the table). For valetines day though Robby did give me a new hand vacumn (how romantic!) and that is helping.

high chair for dinner almost always, but Anthony & Dominic have their own kid's table that they eat breakfast and lunch on so he sits in his tiny chair for most meals. He doesn't really protest the high chair at dinner yet though.

I look the highchair down months ago. Jack sits in one of those chairs that hangs from our bar. Or on my lap...or on dh's lap.

I love having a dog to clean up the dropped food. Makes clean up a breeze!
