There is NO excess fluid on his brain!!!!! :cheer :
a HUGE weight has been lifted off of my shoulders!
She did however, tell me that he has some cysts on his kidneys- but they are a certain type where in order to be something concerning they have to be associated with a cleft pallet or a club foot- and baby has neither of those so she said they should just go away on their own and she sees them ALL the time. Still worrying, but i'm not going to stress it.
She also said i'm about the 3rd or 4th person to come in freaking out about what the lady at the u/s place told me, and all of the concerned mommies have been freaking out about nothing because she was wrong every time! Lady needs to learn to keep her mouth shut or she's gonna get herself shut down!
Anyways, here are some pics
the infamous pecker. He won't put that thing away! He must be embarrassed because he just kicked me twice
That's awesome. I am glad that got sorted out....and um...you should call that lady and get your money back! She's owes you that much for making you suffer all weekend.....

I'm glad to hear that baby is well! I would have DF call that woman and tell her to stop giving out information like that . . . if I called myself I'd probably be really ugly to her!

That is GREAT news Jenny!!! I'm so glad you have a healthy little guy. The ultrasound pictures are great, I love the pecker picture. I agree, I'd somehow contact that lady and let her know how much undue stress she caused you!
yeah.. I probably SHOULD say something about it.. but i'm really not all that angry. Maybe it's the relief talking??
plus it made it so I got to see the little guy again today free of charge (well, free of charge to ME, i'm sure they charged my insurance some asinine amount)
im so glad he is ok!!!!!!!!!!!!! is there any way you can make a complaint against that tech?? like through the better business bureau or something??? she should be fired!
I know she's gotten in trouble already before for doing diagnostic things (like measuring height and things like that) so I really don't know why she even brings it up- especially when in order to get a 4d ultrasound, you HAVE to be receiving real medical care, so if there's anything wrong- the actual doctor should pick it up.
My doctor knows she told me, so I think it would be up to them to make a complaint. They probably will, since i'm not the first to come in saying that she told me things she wasn't supposed to.
I don't doubt that she saw excess fluid, I think it was just WAY too early to say anything about it since it was before the 20 week anatomy scan where those things are developed enough to worry about, and it most likely just went away.
Or baby was having an off day and swallowed too much amniotic fluid
he is kinda chubby lookin' already
When I read your first thread about this, I knew the U/S tech was not allowed to tell you that kind of information.. When I see the U/S tech, I ask questions and she tells me because I told her I would not tell the Dr.. lol Since I had gestational diabetes, the size of my baby really concerned me and when she said she's measuring below normal babies her age, I was relieved.. This was something my OB never told me.. But this time I will be asking what percentile this baby is in.. I'm a BTDT mommy now.. lol
