Never a dull moment in our house with 2 boys!! Today we were all in the kitchen & Owen was sitting at the counter and grabbed a box cutter Dh had just used a few mins ago to open some packages, it was closed escept for a tiny point at the end and he sliced his finger open.

It immediately started gushing, I'm talking a pool of blood on my bathroom floor when I was trying to clean it. It took just bled and bled. I got it cleaned up and wrapped tight in a bandaid and got the bleeding to stop, but then when we checked it, it started gushing again. Derrick doesn't think he needs to be taken to the E.R., but I dunno, if it starts bleeding again we might take him, cause that is a lot of blood for his little finger.

He's ok..he's resting right here next to me, just thought I'd share another one of our many adventures here at our house!

Boys! I feel like with just one boy its never a dull moment! I hope his finger is ok and you wont have to take him to the ER. ER is never fun!

Wow that is crazy! That does sound like a ton of blood for one tiny finger. I would suggest taking him for sure if it starts up again. OF COURSE hubby us going to say he doesn't need to go, that would be like admitting something he did seriously injured the child LOL.

Yikes!!! that is so scary! I am dreading the day something like that happens, and I know it will!! Hope everything was okay.....poor little guy and poor you!!

He's Okay..We kept it wrapped up last night, then I put some Neosporin on it before bed and a fresh bandaid, I checked it today and it looks Okay, and it hasn't bled since last night.

Kerin, You're So right..he totally didn't wanna admit he messed up and left that box cutter out!
