Well, I thought I'd say hello. I see there are lots of new babies and preggo mamas in here so congrats to everyone!!
I'm also preggo, due in 3 months (november 11th) with a surprise baby. We're hoping for a homebirth but are having some issues coming up here at the last minute so we'll see if that works out.
Nola is doing good and is almost potty trained. We only use diapers overnight and if we are out of the house. Otherwise she takes herself potty, which is awesome! She just started potty training a couple weeks ago, so we're making great progress. I was really hoping she'd be done with diapers before the baby comes, and it looks like it might happen!
She also just got her first haircut and I LOVE it on her:
She's excited about the baby, but I think she only kinda gets it. She will point to babies on TV and then to my stomach and tell me "baby in tummy!". So she's getting there. I'm a little worried about her when the baby comes though. She's very much a cuddler and loves being held a lot, so I'm nervous about some jealousy on her part. But we'll work it out I'm sure!
The held part is the hard thing, cuz it is hard to carry a carseat carrier and a 2 year, believe me, I know!! Congrats!!!!
Are you hoping for a boy or a girl?
Hey girl, glad to see you back around! Nola's haricut is sooo beautiful, it really suits her! I can't believe you're already almost 30 weeks pregnant...!!! Hope to see you around more!

we don't do car seat carriers, so that will make it easier. Baby in a sling leaves hands free to deal with a 2 year old! lol She's pretty independant when we're out and about too, doesn't want to be held then, just at home.
I'm actually thinking its another girl, but we don't really know for sure. I"m fine either way, but as we get closer my brain is starting to fixate on it being a girl so I worry about being wrong...
Hi! I'm glad to see you! I've been wondering how you were doing. I love Nola's haircut! It really looks adorable on her! Way to go on the potty training! Sounds like she will be out of diapers before the baby comes which will definitely be nice!
I hope you're able to have a homebirth like you want.
I'm having the same concern about Ben with the cuddling. He is a big cuddler. He loves to just come sit on my lap and snuggle up. He'll sit that way and watch a TV show or read or sometimes just to snuggle. I love it but I worry how he'll react when he isn't always able to do that.
Congrats on the pregnancy! I love the new hair cut on Nola, she looks like such a little lady!!

See and Rock is more likely to do it when we're out!
LJ was a surprise baby, I was SURE he was a boy, but Nick was sure he was a girl, so he convinced me, so when he came out a boy it was kind of weird.
